Live from Gardermoen…woohoo!!

Supposed to be flying back to Edinburgh to visit the folks for Christmas, but still sitting in Gardermoen airport. Flight has been delayed “until further notice” due to heavy fog over in London. Have wifi access so thought I’d come on here and whinge about it Had a quick look at the BA site and all domestic flights are cancelled for the rest of the day….bummer. Checked my online booking and yes, my connection has been cancelled. “Just conatct BA or your travel agent” it says. Hang on, they’re giving out juice and sandwiches. Mmmmmmmmm, Solo or Pepsi and an Egg sandwich….yummy (NOT)!!!

Quick update. Just announced going to be boarding in an hour. Ok, what do I do when I get to Heathrow. “Ask BA customer services when you get there” they say. “They will have a plan in place for you”. That sounds very reassuring!!!

The funning thing is, had a similar experience last year too. Then I was flying Olso to Edinburgh via Amsterdam. Ended up spending the night in Amsterdam courtesy of KLM, when the leg from Oslo was delayed due to aircraft “technical problems”.

Shite!!!…boarding time put back another hour….and I only bought 1 hour of access time.

At least its not Christmans Eve….yet
