The makers of Irn-Bru have outdone themselves again, with their latest TV ad for the festive season. Its a Scottish-ised (hmmm, that probably isn’t a real word) take on Raymon Brigg’s classic, The Snowman. Instead of somewhere over the south of England, we get some well know Scottish sights. Once again, pure dead brilliant
I just love the way whoever makes these ads keeps coming up with something different.
alsoblah blah : silly or pretentious chatter or nonsense
plural: a feeling of boredom, lethargy, or general dissatisfaction
and now onto the purpose of this nugget. I recently found another example of what others (in this case Brian Kendal), who must have too much free time on their hands, leave around on the web as distractions for the rest of us.
In The Demented Movie saying blah makes ones head explode…literally. This flash animation has been made to look like a feature movie, with a cast of stick characters, its own language, a running time of almost 30 minutes and a plot which borders on being asinine. Sorry, correction, it most definitely crosses that border and is asinine.
But, given all its asinineness (is that actually a word?) it is actually quite funny in a perverse sort of way. Enjoy.
